This piece came together slowly, layer by layer—allowing darkness, movement, and light to coexist rather than compete. The blues and blacks create depth and quiet tension, while the composite gold leaf breaks through like light finding its way in.
As I worked, I kept thinking about how often beauty shows up in fragments—never all at once, never perfectly placed. This piece asked for trust, patience, and a willingness to let the process lead. And every time the light shifts across it, something new reveals
