“Farmer’s Market” is a vibrant acrylic painting originally created in 1998 as part of my hand-painted floor cloth collection. Painted on heavy-duty canvas with hemmed edges and a durable sealed surface, this piece evokes the timeless charm of fresh produce stands and country kitchens. (Slight yellowing has occurred in the bottom, lower portion and will be heavily discounted.)
 
A bold black and white checkered border approximately three inches wide frames the entire composition, giving it a classic farmhouse aesthetic. Within, the painting is divided into four distinct rectangles by delicate quarter-inch white lines. Each quadrant celebrates the natural beauty of fresh fruits and vegetables:
   •   Upper Left: Juicy red strawberries floating over a rich black background.
   •   Upper Right: Three elegant purple eggplants resting on a softly blended wash of blue-greens.
   •   Lower Left: Fiery red chili peppers painted over a warm golden yellow wash.
   •   Lower Right: Crisp green Granny Smith apples floating against a dramatic black background.
