Bursting with bright yellows, hot pinks, vibrant teals, bold blacks, and crisp whites, Cirque du Soleil III is a joyful celebration of creative freedom and playful mark-making. This 11” x 14” acrylic painting is one of a three-part series exploring the whimsy and spontaneity of artistic play.
 
Layer by layer, I built up texture using stencils, smears, swirls, splatters, drips, and dynamic line work—each movement contributing to a visual rhythm that reminded me of a circus performance. The paint seems to dance across the surface, mimicking the energy, color, and spectacle of Cirque du Soleil.
 
This piece is a tribute to uninhibited expression—a reminder that art can be bold, messy, and full of magic.
