“Breath of Summer ” is here! 🌿
This piece began months ago after I wrapped up a four-part Aspen commission (Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter). I was so inspired, I jumped straight into this larger canvas—30” x 48” x1.5”, full of life!
What started with excitement turned into a bit of a marathon… I painted trunks, limbs, and leaves for days (truly, days 😅), then gave it some breathing room before circling back with fresh eyes. Now, with a few final tweaks, it feels complete—and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
The textures, the wraparound sides, the layers of greens and sunlight… this one pulls you in with its crackled trunks, dappled on leaves and textured, sunlit grass.
