“Geometric Echoes I & II” are two highly abstract mixed media works created together as a companion pair. Painted on sturdy mixed media paper, these pieces emerged from the creative overflow of my studio practice, much like my signature drop cloth creations. Using leftover paints from other works, modeling pastes, and experimental mark-making, each layer reflects spontaneous movement and authentic process.
 
The backgrounds flow with vibrant aqua blues, shifting from deep, rich tones to soft pastel sky blues. Random brushstrokes of bright cerulean green add luminous pops of color throughout, bringing fresh energy and depth. Pools of black paint were dropped and allowed to blur organically across the surfaces, creating fluid contrast and mystery.
 
Meandering through both pieces are paths of geometric shapes: small black and gold squares, delicate gold zigzag lines, and tiny gold circles with central dots, creating rhythm and playful structure. Scattered gold hash marks flicker with light, while small squiggly gold lines dance across the surfaces with kinetic elegance.
 
Each painting is anchored by a sculptural form created from modeling paste, rising like a stylized bundle of wheat and adding dimensional texture to the compositions.
 
Signed and sealed, “Geometric Echoes I & II” can be displayed individually or as a striking set, bringing vibrant movement, organic flow, and layered geometric poetry into any modern or eclectic space.
